Listen up.

Have you ever heard that money makes more money?

Well, fitness can make more fitness…

…or at least make it much easier to improve

Here’s the habit that could take your results from month-long to lifelong.

~ Listen to it below ~

Minnesota has come a long way.  Drive through banking…  Caribou Coffee!  But when I first moved here from Cornwall, I just couldn’t find a couple of absolute necessities.  Like double oven gloves…

Yeah, the single hand oven mitts are okay, until you need both hands, and the other mitt is on the far side of the island, and you’re stuck with a heavy tray and the oven door is open.

When I go back to visit my parents, I’ll always make room for new oven gloves in my suitcase and use them to protect the big packet of chocolate hobnobs (look those up, you’re welcome) that would cost more in shipping costs than they were worth - before the days of Amazon Prime.

It just made sense.  It was easy – and cheaper!

And while the Amazon logistics team have solved that problem for me, I learned a valuable lesson that can make your life easier too: the easiest way to be healthier, is to add an activity to something you’re already doing in the place you’re already doing it.  This is called habit stacking:

  • If you floss (I’m team floss) it’s usually right before brushing your teeth.  You put the floss close to your toothbrush.

  • Got to make a phone call?  Go for a walk.

  • We have a concept 2 bike erg with a phone slot.  Do you know how many calories you can burn in 1 episode of the Great British Bake Off?  Bonus:  this one also stops me snacking while I’m watching someone present a beautiful cream filled pastry.

Trust me!  This has been a game changer

Have a think about it and reply to this email with one habit stack BIG or small, that you think you can implement this week.

Cheering you on,

Joseph
