Gym Locker Usage & Rental Policy
1. Locker Types & Monthly Rental Fees
Members may rent lockers on a monthly basis, subject to availability. Fees must be paid in advance and renew automatically unless canceled.
Locker Sizes & Rates
Small Locker: $1.50 per month
Medium Locker: $3.00 per month
Large Locker: $6.00 per month
Payment Terms
Payment is due on or before the first day of each rental month.
A grace period of 60 days may be provided at management’s discretion.
If payment is not received by the end of the grace period, the locker will be considered past due.
Past-due lockers may result in cutting of lock, removal of items and re-allocation of that locker. That locker is NOT guaranteed to be available in the future.
2. Permitted Use
Lockers are intended for storing personal items during workouts or for monthly rental storage that complies with gym rules.
Members are responsible for locking their lockers and safeguarding their belongings. The gym is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal property. No reimbursement will be issued for locks that are cut due to delinquent payments or improper locker use as defined by gym rules.
3. Prohibited Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, members must not store the following in lockers:
Food or perishable items
Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
Alcohol
Weapons or hazardous materials
Explosive items
Wet or damp clothing or towels that can drip into lockers adjacent and below
Items emitting strong odors
Any materials prohibited by local, state, or federal law
Management reserves the right to determine whether an item is unsafe or inappropriate for locker storage.
4. Locker Inspections and Access
To maintain safety and facility standards, the gym may access or inspect lockers under the following conditions:
Non-payment: If a locker rental is unpaid beyond the grace period
Hygiene concerns: If odors, leakage, excessive accumulated dust, infestation, or other health concerns are detected
Safety concerns: If locker contents are suspected to be dangerous or prohibited
Emergency situations
Efforts will be made to contact the renter before opening the locker, but this cannot be guaranteed.
5. Cutting Locks & Locker Clearance
If a locker must be opened due to non-payment, hygiene concerns, safety issues, or abandoned property:
The gym reserves the right to cut the lock and access the locker without further notice.
Contents will be removed and stored for 60 days.
Items not claimed within the holding period will be discarded or donated at management’s discretion.
6. Cancellation & Refunds
Locker rentals may be canceled at any time with written notice.
Partial-month refunds are typically not issued, unless required by law or stated otherwise in the membership agreement.
7. Liability
The gym is not liable for damage to or loss of items stored in lockers. Lockers are provided as a convenience; use is at the member’s own risk.
8. Policy Changes
The gym may amend, revise, or replace these locker policies at any time without prior notice. Policy changes will be provided to members through posted notices or other standard communication methods and will become effective upon publication unless otherwise stated. Continued use of locker services after changes are implemented constitutes acceptance of the updated policies.
